In San Juan Raya, you will walk on fossil footprints of dinosaurs and petrified seashells, witnesses of a millenary past. At nightfall, the clear sky becomes a stellar spectacle during astronomical evenings, allowing you to connect with the cosmos. In addition, you will taste cactus flowers and fruits, such as pitaya and xoconostle, which bring an exotic touch to the local gastronomy. • Hike level: Easy. Enjoy the desert, get to know the unique plants that grow in this ecosystem with easily accessible trails.
• Distance and duration: 2-4 km hiking on each route (dinosaur footprints, botanical garden)
• General recommendations: Essential to bring: A backpack with 4 liters of water, electrolytes, lunch and snacks for the first day, food for dinner on the first day, hat, UV blocker, long-sleeved and breathable clothing. Expect warm weather. Sleeping bag that resists temperature 0-10°C; If it has another resistance, it can be cushioned with a camping kit.
• Ages: 18 to 60 years old
• Not recommended for people with joint injuries or in the course of any disease

⏱️ Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival camping area 9:30 am, camp lift and free time in the pool, introductory hike to the desert in nearby surroundings. In the afternoon regional food with flowers and cactus fruits, sunset tour of the Helia Bravo botanical garden, mezcal tasting and group bonfire, astronomical evening.
2. Day 2: Breakfast and camp, transfer to San Juan Raya and hiking in dinosaur footprints, visit to turritelas trails and regional fossil museum. Group lunch closing and return to CDMX. 3-8 pm.

🚫 Cancellation Policy

1. In case of cancellation before 120 hours (5 days) from the start time of the event (set time for meeting at the meeting point), the advance payment will be refunded 100%. 

2. Within 120 hours prior to the event, the advance payment will not be refundable in case of cancellation nor will it be subject to change of date, as it is intended to cover logistical costs of the day that must be paid in advance. 3. In case of confirming attendance and not showing up on the day of the event, the advance payment will not be refundable or rescheduleable, since it is intended to cover logistical costs that must be paid in advance. 

4. In the event that we are forced to cancel the event for reasons beyond our control, we will refund the advance payment in full as soon as possible.
