Infiernillo Canyon [Private Group]

We will traverse a river by rappelling down waterfalls, jumping into pools, and swimming.

We will start with a night of camping (or an optional cabin) near the entrance of the canyon, where we will give an explanatory talk about the activity and the use of the equipment. We will have dinner and rest to enter the canyon early the next day.

The tour includes 17 rappels down waterfalls and jumps into turquoise blue pools, in a green and humid environment. Since the water is cold, we recommend using wetsuits; if you don't have one, we can provide it for you. 

The entire activity lasts around 6 hours. At the end, we will dismantle the camp and enjoy a dinner in the beautiful town of Bernal before returning home.

Additional Information

• A good physical condition is required
• It's important not to be afraid of water
• Note that rappelling is mandatory; there is no way to exit or descend by walking 
• The water is cold, and wetsuits are recommended (rental is available)
• Exclusive experience for people over 18 years old

Itinerary

1. Departure on Friday or Saturday at 4pm
2. Arrival at the camp
3. Set up camp and rappelling workshop with canyon progression techniques
4. Meal, bonfire, and social time
5. Next day wake-up at 8am
6. Equip and prepare to enter the canyon
7. The tour lasts around 7 hours
8. After the tour, eat, dismantle camp, and return to Mexico City.
9. Return on Saturday or Sunday at 11pm
