Additional Information

Before the hike

• Drink plenty of water the day before
• Eat carbohydrates for dinner
• Arrive well-rested
• Do not drink alcoholic beverages 24 hours before
• Have a good breakfast on the day of the excursion (foods that are not heavy on the stomach)

During the hike

• Hiking boots (previously worn, with a large tread)
• Thick long socks, preferably wool
• Comfortable and warm walking pants
• Nylon or synthetic fiber shirt
• Thick jacket
• Raincoat
• Cold weather hat
• Sunscreen with at least 30 SPF
• Sunglasses with UV protection
• Gloves

After the hike

• Towel
• Complete change of clothes (shirt, pants, underwear, socks)
• Sneakers or sandals
• Sweatshirt or jacket
