Ascend via ferrata and then descend more than 40 meters on a cliff by rappelling.

This tour includes:

• Mountaineering Tools Workshop
• All the necessary safety equipment for rappelling: ropes, helmet, carabiners, safety harness

Insurance: The one-day medical insurance costs $96 + VAT and will provide you with coverage on the day of the excursion. It must be paid and registered up to 48 hours prior to the excursion to make it valid. (More details at the end of the description)

• To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, we recommend you bring:
  • Suitable footwear: hiking boots or sneakers with non-slip or good grip on the sole
  • Water and small snacks such as seeds or a fruit
  • Practical backpack to carry your belongings.
  • Camera. The use of drones is not recommended, as the fauna of the place can shoot them down.
  • Bring your powerbank ready so that your cell phone does not run out of battery and you can take pictures during the tour.
  • Dress in comfortable, layered clothing that allows you to adapt to the weather conditions. Here's an example:

• Remember that there is no signal on the mountain, make sure to let your relatives know that you will be rappelling in the Dynamos and do not worry them during the tour.
• We recommend that you bring a change of dry clothes in case of rain that you can leave in your vehicle or in a sealed plastic bag and change at the end.
• Have breakfast before arriving, the effort when climbing is not extreme but it does require you to be recharged

• 7:30 am
  Arrival in the Dynamos
• 8:00 am
  Workshop on the use of safety tools, as well as the correct use of footwear. Location with compass and map
• 8:25 am
  Warm-up, box lunch delivery.
  We begin the ascent to the mountain
• 9:00 am
  We arrived at the via ferrata area, we installed equipment. Additional instructions, we begin ascent
• 9:30 am
  Installation of ropes and equipment for rappelling and camping for breakfast. We begin unlimited descents and ascents.
• 11:30 pm
  Unanchoring and descent from the mountain
• 1:15 pm
  End of the tour

1. Do I need previous experience to participate in this activity? 

No, you don't need previous experience. Our certified guide will teach you everything you need to know and will be with you at all times to make sure you have a safe and fun experience.

2. Is there an age limit to participate?

Yes, the activity is suitable for people from 12 years old. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

3. What happens if the weather is not favorable on the day of the activity?

In the event of adverse weather conditions that put safety at risk, we reserve the right to reschedule the activity for another date or issue a full refund.

4. What does the food package include?

The food package includes a box lunch breakfast that includes a sandwich, energy bar, fruit, cereal, potatoes, yogurt, juice, hot ☕️ coffee and cookies. We also offer you a glass of wine and tequila in the heights. We assure you that you will have enough energy to enjoy the activity.

5. How can I take out health insurance?

The medical expenses insurance for one day has an additional cost of $112 MXN (includes VAT) and must be paid and registered up to 48 hours before the excursion. 

This insurance provides the following coverage:

• In the event of accidental death as a result of an accident suffered by the insured and within ninety (90) calendar days following the date thereof, the Company shall pay to the designated beneficiaries or, in their absence, to the legal estate of the insured, the sum of $100,000 MXN.
• In addition, if as a direct consequence of a covered accident and within ten (10) days following the occurrence of the same, the insured needs to undergo medical treatment, surgical intervention, hospitalization, use of ambulance, medications or laboratory and cabinet studies up to the Usual, Reasonable and Customary Expense, the Company will reimburse up to $75,000 MXN of the Covered Medical Expenses, after verification.
