Immerse yourself in the magic of Xochimilco with our kayak tour, starting at 5:00 am. We offer single and double kayaks upon reservation.

Enjoy sunrise and sunset tours, navigating the canals while appreciating the native and migratory flora and fauna of the region. Our guide will share fascinating stories about the local culture and natural environment.

We will arrive at the Tezhuilo lagoon to witness the birth of the sun, on a journey of approximately 3 km.

At the end of the kayaking activity, we will enjoy a delicious hot pot coffee, Tulyehualco amaranth bread and quesadillas.

This activity is suitable for everyone, from beginners to experienced kayakers. We provide all the necessary equipment: kayaks, paddles and life jackets, as well as having a guide for every 10 participants.

The 2 packages include the necessary equipment for the experience.

i Additional information

  • Wear clothing that allows for quick drying, as you are likely to get wet during the kayak tour.
  • It is recommended that you bring an extra change of clothes, keepwarm, include  a hat and gloves.
  • It is important to sleep well the night before and avoid arriving hangover, after the party or drunk or drugged.
  • We have closed parking, with a cost of $100 pesos per car.

Some considerations:

  • Remember that the view of the sunrise is a natural phenomenon that does not depend on us.
  • It is very important that you arrive on time at the meeting point at 5 a.m. 

⏱ Itinerary

  1. Arrival at the parking lot 5:00 am
  2. Walk to the departure point of the canoes, which will take us where we will board the kayaks.
  3. Start of the experience and walk along the canals 05:30 am approximately
  4. Arrival at Tezhuilo  Lagoon to watch the sunrise
  5. Paddle back to the embarkation point for breakfast approximately 8am.
  6. Return to the meeting point between 9:00 - 10:00 am

No previous kayaking experience is necessary. 

What is the tolerance time for arrival?

We have a tolerance of 10 minutes.

What does breakfast include? Breakfast is included with bread, amaranth, ollay coffee, 2 quesadillas of chicharron, pumpkin blossom, mushrooms, etc.

¡Ha sido una experiencia fenomenal! Fue refrescante explorar parte de la Ciudad de México tan atada a la naturaleza. Nuestros guías fueron muy amables y reconfortantes, y el valor por lo que obtuvimos fue genial. Una experiencia inigualable, si vienes a la Ciudad de México o vives aquí no puedes perderte la oportunidad de vivir un hermoso amanecer por los canales de Xochimilco, el desayuno delicioso en un jardín muy a gusto donde pudimos hacer uso de las hamacas y de los tipis y que mejor que asar bombones para quitarte el frío…… los anfitriones súper amables y atentos…. Recomiendo ampliamente

¡Increíble! Emmanuel es el MEJOR, es genial y cariñoso. Me encantó nuestro recorrido. El desayuno también es INCREÍBLE: el café, las quesadillas y el pan eran fantásticos. Los perros (Camilo y Canelo) eran muy dulces. Me encantó todo.

Quería una experiencia personal en Xochimilco en lugar de una fiesta en trajineras. Aunque no somos hispanohablantes nativos, el guía nos atendió bien. El paseo en kayak por los canales era precioso y el desayuno era acogedor. Recomendado para quienes buscan algo fuera de su zona de confort.
